Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Fans' Season 2 Bingo Cards — With Some Good News

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel debuts on the streaming platform soon, and audience theories has been widespread.

Season 1 introduces a diverse group of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other with songs about their clashes, and builds heated competitions and emotional bonds that fuel audience devotion.

The community's expectations for the new season differ greatly, but certain threads emerge over and over: Will a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with fan service specifically in mind," the creator commented earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season moves, and how much of what they're waiting for happens this season.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool backstories, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about season 2 — especially in the format of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people make a bingo card about the new season," she mentions. "Obviously I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
