Assassin's Creed Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.
The mission focuses on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
